We cannot recommend Wendy enough. She took the time to listen to me and my questions around breastfeeding. She delivered a service with such kindness and compassion - it was just like a member of my family popping in for a (very informative!) cup of tea. My husband was involved in the consultation too and we both found this so helpful. He learned a lot, especially how to support me and my daughter through our breastfeeding journey. In the end I went with combination feeding and Wendy was 100% supportive, providing great practical and impartial advice.

Separately, I had a bit of a difficult birth and Wendy went above and beyond to point me to the resources available to me. Wendy, you helped me more than you will ever know and thank you for being one of the first people to truly listen to me.

If I could give Wendy 100 stars I would. Wendy played a crucial part in keeping our breastfeeding journey going through a very rough patch, she spotted issues that GP's, health nurses and even hospitals had missed and gave us workable solutions to get to the bottom of them. Not only did she come with a wealth of knowledge about breastfeeding and all of the important parts of that, but she's also just a genuinely wonderful human being that understands mums incredibly well and provides a safe and compassionate space for you to address your concerns. It's safe to say we might not be feeding successfully at this stage if we hadn't had gotten such brilliant help from Wendy. She helped us through multiple tongue tie issues, latch problems, lack of weight gain/pumping and how to utilise it and much much more, and came out to us at short notice when we most in need of help and guidance.

If you're pregnant and considering breastfeeding your baby or if you're already on the journey, I would highly recommend Wendy as a fantastic support and expert on all things breastfeeding. Our little boy is now thriving and we cannot express our appreciation enough for all of your help.

Wendy was an amazing support to me when I was first getting to grips with breastfeeding. She immediately put me at ease, she knew what to say and how to say it. I asked a million questions, all of them answered. She also went above and beyond in her follow up and checked in to see how I was doing. I felt so empowered after her visit and far more confident breastfeeding. I cannot speak highly enough about her professionalism, knowledge of breastfeeding and most importantly, her kindness.

Wendy was absolutely fantastic from start to finish with our 3 week old baby girl. I emailed Wendy as I wanted a second opinion for my milk supply as I wasn’t happy with what the hospital had suggested. Wendy was out to us within 2 days and was so kind and really listened to our birth and breastfeeding journey so far.

Wendy was able to put a plan in place to protect my milk supply as well as showing me tips and tricks for a better latch and to get our baby the most milk. Wendy was also able to identify that our baby possibly had a tongue restriction and was able to refer us to a tongue tie specialist so we could get further help.

Wendy has been brilliant with any follow up questions we have had and has the most kind and caring way about her no matter how many questions you have. You can tel Wendy really cares about what she does and makes you feel heard and seen and that you are doing everything you can. She followed up with us on what’s app with messages and voice notes as well as lots of helpful articles and websites for further support.

We would have been lost without Wendy and would highly recommend her to anyone who is struggling with breastfeeding.

Wendy supported me through numerous challenges I faced in establishing breastfeeding with my baby. She has been on hand to answer all of my questions and she was genuinely invested in helping me through all of the issues I encountered. With Wendy's help, I am now feeding pain-free and am looking forward to continuing to breastfeed my little one.

As an overwhelmed first-time mother, trying to navigate tongue tie, jaundice and triple feeding, Wendy was my knight in shining armour. She was incredibly supportive, patient, reassuring and motivational. She gave excellent instruction about how to ensure a good latch, was interested in my comfort and gave great advice on how to breastfeed when out and about and during the night.

She spent a huge amount of time showing me various positions in which I could feed, as the cross cradle position that I was shown in hospital, just didn’t work for us. She followed up with recordings so that I could refer back to these positions time and time again. Most of all, Wendy gave me the confidence I needed to continue breastfeeding, as well as reassurance and advice about wider parenting issues. I would highly recommend using Wendy to support you through your feeding journey.

Wendy is a gem, she’s so professional, warm and supportive. I cannot thank her enough for the encouragement and support she gave me during a very stressful 6-week feeding journey. It didn’t work out the way I wanted it to but that’s ok because I know I did everything I could based on Wendy’s constant advice and reassurance. I also learned a huge amount about breastfeeding and will be able to use that knowledge if I ever have another baby. I would highly recommend Wendy to anyone pre or postnatal, she’s fantastic.

I had an amazingly supportive experience working with Wendy. My baby boy arrived 5 weeks early and wasn't able to latch. I had no idea what I was doing or how to start breastfeeding and received no support in the hospital in relation to breastfeeding. I contacted Wendy when I got home from hospital and she fitted me in for a consultation straight away.

When Wendy arrived she made me feel at ease and made me believe that I was doing my best. She made it clear that it takes time for baby and mum to get the hang of breastfeeding and that that's ok! We talked through different positions and Wendy helped me try out different positions and different shields to help with latching. Even though it still wasn't working for my baby and I, Wendy gave me some practical things to work on over the next couple of days. She also helped me understand how to keep my supply up by pumping etc.

Over the next couple of days I was able to put into action all the things Wendy had suggested to try. She was also so good at sending a message/ voice note to check in on us! I felt I could message her at any point when I was struggling or needed help! I always felt relieved and confident after speaking with Wendy! She was always so supportive. I unfortunately got mastitis 3 weeks into my breastfeeding journey and again Wendy was incredible at offering suggestions and getting me through a very difficult couple of days! She checked in on us regularly during this time!

I am now breastfeeding full time and I can't thank Wendy enough for the help and confidence she gave me in relation to breastfeeding!

I would highly recommend Wendy as a Lactation Consultant. She is extremely supportive and provided much needed support and compassion at a very vulnerable time for me as a first time Mum & during the fourth trimester. It is clear that it is her vocation to work with parents & their babies as she naturally embodies warmth, empathy and understanding. Wendy is extremely knowledgeable and provided evidence based resources. She was so supportive and was quick to respond to my anxious texts and concerns. If it wasn't for Wendy, we would not have realised that our son had tongue tie. Wendy helped us to arrange appointments for consultations and provided a number of recommendations. She also provided me with a lot of comfort by talking about my birthing experience and follow-on care. I felt empowered after her visit and the information she provided. She is so caring and gentle with babies. I will continue to recommend her to everyone.

Wendy was honestly a dream come true! I was a few days into breastfeeding and was suffering the baby blues and feeling overwhelmed and scared my baby wasnt feeding properly or getting enough. I emailed Wendy in the middle of the night - and she responded first thing the next morning organising a time to visit. She immediately put my mind at ease by giving me some fantastic tips and lovely reassurances for my confidence.
She even noticed my baby had a tongue tie, something I was suspicious of but the hospital missed. It was thanks to her we got that sorted and nursing became so much easier.
Honestly she is amazing!! It felt like she was my constant support and a walking breastfeeding encyclopaedia… and I could message her for months later with questions and she’d always get back with guidance and information for me.
Well worth every penny! I think if I never spoke to her my breastfeeding journey would have ended after one week!
She’s she’s very kind and just a lovely warm hearted person who’s completely on your side.

Wendy is an incredible professional and lovely human to have on your side on this journey to breastfeeding. She was so patient and understanding of the stress I was going through but also so knowledgeable and well educated in her profession which allowed me to feed my baby in her first visit and have been feeding without issues since. Not only did she get me to my target within a day but she has also spent so much time setting me up with another consultant that I may need to keep being successful with breastfeeding. I cannot say enough positive things or recommend her enough for her kind and scientific approach, thank you so very much Wendy

Where to start! Wendy is an absolute life saver. I was nervous to reach out to a lactation consultant with the fear of being told I was doing everything wrong. My only mistake was not reaching out to Wendy sooner. She was the kindest lady full of useful understanding knowledge. I was ready to give up my breastfeeding journey but thankfully Wendy put me back on the right track. Her follow ups and advice even after the consultation were brilliant. We're forever grateful for the time Wendy gave us. Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of reaching out! You won't regret it. Thanks Wendy!

Wendy is absolutely fabulous to work with-not only is she a highly qualified IBCLC but she imparts all of her knowledge and expertise in the most compassionate, warm and non judgmental way. Wendy has a clear passion for her work which is so evident in the time she takes to go above and beyond in her support and ongoing encouragement and advice. We are so grateful we got to meet Wendy who was able to identify the source of our feeding issues straight away along with a plan to remedy. We could not recommend Wendy more, she is absolutely smashing!

Can’t recommend Wendy enough. Without her expertise, guidance, encouragement and support, I wouldn’t have been able to continue my breastfeeding journey. She went above and beyond to help with an ongoing issue to establish a root cause, offered sincere advice and continued to follow up with me and baby with genuine interest. Wendy is truly dedicated to her clients and she is brilliant at what she does. We are forever grateful. Orla

Wendy was an amazing resource on my breastfeeding journey . She really gave me so much help when I was having issues feeding my baby at the start. Would highly recommend her!

I messaged Wendy on a Saturday night when my baby was only a few days old and Wendy promptly responded early Sunday morning with availability to do a consult that very day which was exactly what I needed. Wendy gave me great reassurance and identified my baby to have a tongue tie and made appropriate referrals. Wendy always promptly replied to all my messages with very helpful tips and I knew she was only at the end of the phone if I needed her guidance. I highly recommend her service.

I couldn't recommend Wendy more highly. Wendy's approach is very much lead by the parents. She listens carefully to what your wants and needs are in terms of your breastfeeding journey. Wendy was very clear that she was here to support us in our journey and how everyone's path is unique. She gave us fantastic practical advice while we visited us. We felt set up for success after our constitution with her. With out hesitation I would suggest booking a consultation with Wendy.
